Facility Use Pricing Guide
Pre-registration is required for all visits to the Irvine Ranch Outdoor Education Center at least two weeks in advance. Orange County Council, Boy Scouts of America Units will receive a 10% discount on their group event, excluding meals.

Group Rate Activities (1 Block)
Pricing listed per 50-minute session / Maximum 16 participants per group
Archery Range – $179
16 maximum / 16 targets and bows / Ages: 5+
At our archery range, participants will learn the proper way to take aim and make a bullseye with helpful instruction from our staff. Archery is an activity open to any person, regardless of ability, and is a different kind of team sport which can teach patience, self-control, and discipline. IROEC staff will walk them through proper safety, teach them the proper form and help them get the bullseye they will tell their parents about.
BB Gun Range – $179
16 maximum / 16 stations with targets / Ages: 5+
Practice your sharp shooting skills! Staff will instruct each group on the safety features of all equipment and help participants practice correct handling. After the safety talk and procedure, you will be able to get rounds in on the targets; maybe even shoot a bullseye!
Climbing Tower – $229
16 maximum / Weight: 30 – 275lbs and ages 5+ / shared activity area
Whether you’re a first-time climber or a climber looking for a fun challenge, our climbing tower program is for you! Try our multi-face climbing tower with its various levels of easy to more challenging routes and features. Here at the IROEC, we are climbing to new heights. CLIMB ON!
Mine Immersion – $169
16 maximum / Ages: 5-8 OR 9+
Come and explore our Lucy Lou Mine. Discover how minerals are formed, and have fun hunting for them in our sluice boxes. You’ll also discover how mining impacted the golden state. With luck you’ll be leaving saying, Eureka!
Ranch Immersion – $169
16 maximum / Ages: 5-8 OR 9+
Enter a vibrant agricultural ecosystem that nourishes human beings while protecting habitat for endangered species. Discover the role that wildlife plays in helping us maintain a healthy and diverse agroecosystem. Additionally, students are able to investigate the living compost system and experience the wonder of photosynthesis!
Wacky Science – $169
16 maximum / Ages: 5-8 OR 9+
Come and have a blast in our Wacky Science Immersion. Participants will experience hands-on activities while learning about chemical reactions to non-Newtonian fluids.
Zip Line (2 Lines) – $249
Two lines – 16 maximum (1 group) OR four lines – 32 maximum (2 groups) / Weight: 50 – 275lbs and ages 5+ / shared activity area

Ecology Hike – $149

Wander through our lush ecosystem known as the chaparral. Learn about the local vegetation and its many uses. Explore the native wildlife while practicing Leave No Trace.
Koll Mountain Hike – $149
16 maximum / Ages: 9+ / Group must have 2 adults for 16 youth
Let the winds of adventure guide you to Koll Mountain. At an elevation of 1,066 ft., find yourself surrounded by the wonderful chaparral until you reach the top for a breath-taking view of Orange County.
Night Hike – $149
16 maximum / Ages: 5-8 OR 9+ / Group must have 2 adults for 16 youth
Explore nature in the dark! Participants will discover their own night vision while learning how eyes work, why light can sometimes hinder our sight in the dark, and how the vision of other animals differ from their own. Learn about local wildlife and how circadian rhythms affect both the animals around us and themselves, both when they are awake and asleep. No flashlights please!
Pool and Waterslide – $289.00 per group
Ages: 5+ / 4 groups of 16 each maximum / Height requirement for the water slide is 48 inches / Groups will be required to use one pool at a time if the current pool capacity is less than 50. / Participants must complete a swim check before swimming in the deep end.
Our Aquatic Center is fit for all kinds of group needs. Our 185-footlong, 5-turn water slide is built directly into the hillside and fun for all ages! We staff lifeguards during all events to keep everyone safe and having a great time. Bring your goggles and a towel and come jump in!
Please note – this is always a shared group space, unless exclusive use is pre-arranged in advance.

Located on the First American Field or Kennedy Meadows. Participants will work in multiple groups of 16 and engage in ground-level activities. Activities will be determined by the pre-program questionnaire desired outcomes. Can book multiple groups for one session.
Journey Program (Low Ropes) – $195/$345

Located beneath our high ropes course, the Journey Program is perfect for groups wanting to test and enhance their skills as a team on our low-wired, low structured* course. Most of the low ropes course elements are a foot off the ground and trained facilitators will guide and coach participants towards both individual growth and collaborative success! (*PLEASE NOTE: The Team Wall, the only low ropes element that stands 15ft. in height, requires prior notice/discussion and additional planning with the Adventure Hill Director at their discretion.) Activities will be determined by the pre-program questionnaire desired outcomes. Maximum 16 participants.
Expedition Program (High Ropes) – $365 / 90-minute program
Difficulty Level: Medium-Hard / Ages: 11+
Located on the adventure hill high ropes challenge course. Participants will be challenged at heights of 25ft. with helmets and a belay system. The program includes ground school to learn the equipment and will use a buddy system. Activities will be determined by the pre-program questionnaire desired outcomes. Maximum 16 participants.

Tent Camping on Adventure Hill
Pricing listed per night / Check-in is 3:00pm and check-out is 10:00am
Each campsite comes with two picnic tables and a propane fire ring. Please do not use the fire ring for cooking. We recommend groups bring propane stoves, EZ-ups, camping chairs and portable tables. Includes shared restrooms with cold showers. Charcoal and wood burning are not allowed.

*Campsite Access: Please pack lightly and be prepared to make a couple of trips if necessary, we recommend you bring a wagon or a cart to haul your items to the campsite. Our staff will assist with one luggage cart for heavy items (i.e. EZ-ups, tents, coolers, etc.). The tent camping sites located on the hill do NOT have vehicle access and are 3/10 of a mile from the parking lot.
Grass Camping

Kennedy Meadows – $1,200

Hotel-style with two full beds. Includes a restroom, shower, and air conditioning.
Bungalow Suite (2 Total) – $135 per room
Hotel-style with one queen, two twin beds and a sitting area. Includes a restroom, shower, mini refrigerator, and air conditioning. (Suite 2 is handicap accessible)
Mountain Lion’s Den (Meeting Room Only) – $500 full day
20-person capacity / connected to bungalow building / living room & dining area, kitchenette, gas fireplace, and television / air conditioning
